Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 30 years for UR, 18 to 33 years for OBC and 18 to 35 years for SC/ST for Post No.1 and 18 to 33 years for UR, 18 to 36 years for OBC and 18 to 38 years for SC/ST for Post No.2. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks for Post No.1 and should passed Class 10th or equivalent and must have Scouting/Guiding qualification for Post No.2. Candidates should have good record of participation in Scouts/Guides activities at Unit/ District level.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination, personality test/ interview.
Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay the examination fee of Rs.100/- in the form of demand draft (DD) / Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of ‘Chief Cashier, Western Railway, Churchgate payable at Mumbai for the post of Group ‘C’ and for the post of Group ‘D’ Divisional Cashier, Western Railway, payable at HQ town of the respective division. SC/ ST, Women, Minorites, economically backward classes are exempted from the fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format by affixing the passport size photograph along with caste certificate and other relevant documents by ordinary post only to The Assistant Personnel Officer (R&T), Western Railway, 3rd Floor, GLO Building, Headquarter Officer, Churchgate, Mumbai 400020 or dropped in the application box kept in the office of Assistant Personal Officer (R&T) Western Railway, 3rd Floor, GLO Building, Headquarter Officer, Churchgate, Mumbai 400020 during office hours except Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. The application for category-2 i.e erstwhile Group ‘D’ should sent to the concerned divisional Railway Manager (D) as mentioned in notification on or before 21-10-2013 up to 17:00 hrs. The applications from Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and other far flung areas can send on or before 06-11-2013.
