Qualification: Candidates should possess Post Graduate degree in Physics and Diploma in Radiological Physics for Post No.1, Post Graduation or higher qualification from AICTE recognized institute in Public Health for Post No.2, Graduate in Computer Application/ Information System for Post No.3, Degree in Bio-Medical/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University for Post No.4, Nurse Midwife with Bachelor/ Master’s level degree for Post No.5. Refer notification for post wise educational qualification details.
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 45 years for Post No.1 to 7, 62 years for Post No.8 to 11, 50 years for post No.13, 45 years for Post No. 16 to 18 & Post No.32, 37 years for Post No.21, 65 years for Post No. 26 to 31 and 40 years for remaining all posts.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.500/- for General category, Rs.300/- for BC/EBC and Rs.200/- for SC/ ST candidates. Application fee is to be submitted in the form of Bank Draft only. Except for the posts at Sl. No. 31 & 32 Bank Draft should be drawn on any nationalized bank favoring “State Health Society, Bihar” and payable at Patna. For the posts in Sl. No. 31 & 32, Bank Draft should be drawn on any nationalized bank favoring “District Health Society, ____(Name of the concerned district)” and payable at ___ (Name of the concerned district).
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in interview.

For post at Sl. No. 31 & 32: Candidates can send their applications in a prescribed format complete in all respect along with original bank draft & affidavit only in a closed envelope super scribed with Name of the post applied for, through speed/ registered post to Civil Surgeon-Cum-Member Secretary, District Health Society, ____ (Name of Concerned District) on or before 06-10-2013 up to 05:00 PM
For Remaining All Posts: Candidates should apply through online on the HR cell link of the website www.statehealthsocietybihar.org, after submitting applications online would receive Bar Coded Acknowledgement Card (BCAC) which along with demand draft and a sworn affidavit must be sent in sealed envelope super scripted with “Name of the Post Applied for”, to The Executive Director, State Health Society, Bihar, Pariwar Kalyan Bhawan, Sheikhpura, Patna-800014 through speed/registered post so as to reach on or before 5:00 pm, 06-10-2013.
