Age Limit: Candidates minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should not exceed 33 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Qualification: Candidates should possess 10th Pass or ITI / Centre of Excellence (COE) or equivalent from Recognized Institutions/Boards.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.100/- (one hundred only) payable in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order only, drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer (RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, E.C.Railway, payable at Patna. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities/ Women candidates/ minority/ Persons with Disabilities/ Ex-Servicemen/ Candidates belonging to economically backward class having annual family income of less than Rs.50,000/-are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test, physical efficiency test, documents and candidature verification and medical examination.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with passport size photograph, Indian Postal Order, self attested photocopies of certificates in proof of the date of birth, educational/technical qualifications, caste certificates, etc in a closed envelope super scribed as “Application for Recruitment to the Posts in Pay Band-1+Grade Pay Rs.1800/-, Employment Notice No. RRC/ ECR/ GP/ 1800/ 1/2013″, Physically Handicapped candidate should mention “Physically Handicapped Candidate” at the top right side of the envelope to the Assistant Personnel Officer (RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway, Polson Complex, Digha Ghat, Patna – 800011, Bihar or dropped in the Application Box/Room at Railway Recruitment Cell office, East Central Railway, Polson Complex, Digha Ghat, Patna – 800011 Bihar upto 18.00 hours on or before 14-10-2013.
