Qualification :Candidates should possess M.A./ M.Sc in Sociology, Economics or Statistics from a recognized university/ Institute with overall good academic record with relevant experience of Analysis of Data using computer and handling Statistical Software Packages.

Age Limit : Candidates age should not exceed 35 years as on 01-09-2013. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.

Selection Process :Candidates will be selected based on their performance in interview. Canididates shouls submit all original documents/ certificates for verification at the time of interview.

How To Apply : Eligible candidates appearing for the interview are required to bring with them the application addressed to the Professor in-Charge, Social Sciences Division, ISI, Kolkata along with bio-data stating Name, Address and Telephone No, E-mail address, Father’s/ Husband’s Name, Date of Birth, Educational Qualification (with percentage of marks obtained in each examination), work experience, and SC/ ST/ OBC status along with attested copies of all certificates. Candidates will have to report to the office of the Sociological Research Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, 203 B.T. Road, Kolkata 700108 on the day of interview (19-09-2013) half an hour before the time.
